Standing Firm Against Federal Authorities
In November 2017, federal authorities executed a second round of search warrants. However, this time, we were prepared. We accompanied our client to speak to representatives from the Departments of Homeland Security and Justice under a proffer agreement.
A Birthday Gift: No Charges
Fast forward to June 2023, after two rounds of search warrants, undercover work, and litigation in both state and federal courts, Homeland Security and Justice Departments informed us that the case was closed, and no charges would be filed. The announcement came in the week of our client's birthday.
