Community Involvement
University Club of Orlando
The Law Offices of Horwitz & Citro are longtime members and supporters of the University Club of Orlando. Vince Citro is the current Vice President of the University Club and Vice President and Trustee of the University Club Foundation.

A Long Tradition of Bringing Leaders Together
Since first opening in 1926, The University Club has served as a sanctuary for business and community leaders. A place for Members to escape everyday pressures. To relax alone or reconnect with friends. To work out or get some work done. To enjoy a great meal and great conversation...all while having a great impact on our community.
The most valuable thing developed over the years is The University Club spirit — the unity that connects the Members and fuels the mission.

The Mission
The University Club Foundation supports programs that make a tremendous impact.
Scholarship Program
As community leaders, our greatest responsibility is to put the next generation of leaders on a strong path. The heart of our philanthropic efforts, The University Club Scholarship Program has awarded almost $2M to students attending the colleges and universities of our region, including the University of Central Florida, Rollins College, FAMU College of Law, Seminole State College and Valencia College.
Annual Contribution to the Surgery Resident Education Fund
To show support for the University of Florida, College of Medicine, Mark
and Susan have established an endowment fund known as the "Mark L.
and Susan J. Horwitz Surgery Education Endowment". The Department
of Surgery's mission is to provide excellence in patient care, research
and education. The University of Florida has been ranked among the top
three institutions in the area of tech transfer for successfully passing
on their discoveries in the lab to applications available to the public.
Canine Companions for Independence
Mark and Susan Horwitz also actively support Canine Companions for Independence by volunteering and contributing through the Southeast regional location in Orlando. This organization provides assist dogs to children, veterans and others who, due to physical limitations, need assistance.
